I’m back for a mini update on my week 3 braces!
There really isn’t much of a noticeable difference this week, hence I will make this post short and sweet.
I have been eating things without a care in the world, and my teeth are holding up pretty well!
Slacking all around at home means that I have the tendency to snack excessively.
Since I had my braces on, I have had crazy cravings for otah, bubble tea (PEARLS!!) as well as chips.
I was not able to enjoy these fully until a few days ago! I drank my favourite WOOBBEE Honey Mint with Pearl, and I felt like I was in heaven. To be honest, I did not enjoy it as much as I did when I didn’t have braces. That’s because the mini pearls get into the gap left behind from my extractions and refuse to leave its position. In addition as I only have 2 back teeth left, I find it hard to chew many pearls at a go. Nonetheless, I am contented. (Wide braces grin)
Also, everytime when I eat chips, my Mom will remind me that my ceramic braces snap easily. I mean, chips are really not that hard to chew, so there’s no need to worry, right? (I hope..) Furthermore I try to take smaller bites so I’m sure the snapping situation will not happen to me. FINGERS CROSSED.
Anyway, I just want to express my relieve about getting ceramic braces. Because it is seriously quite unnoticeable, people who haven’t seen me for awhile did not even realize I had them on until I mention to them!! That’s a good thing for me, because I hope that my braces stay as unnoticeable as possible and slowly work their magic secretly. 😛
In my opinion, any time whereby your teeth are not aching is time that has been wasted.
I just want to hurry and go to my next appointment, get my teeth tighten a whole lot again and let them shift as soon as possible. But there must be a reason why dentists make us come the next month, right?
Oh well, I shall be patient. (Sigh)That’s it for this week! When I see more improvements in my teeth, I will be sure to update!
